A family friend once told us that they hold a special family holiday on March 4th, entitled "March Forth"- they set goals and march forth (literally and figuratively) into the current year with celebration and determination.
Well, our March 4th was not too eventful, but our March 5th sure was...lots of really hard news all in the matter of about two hours (another "no" for a baby, and two dear friends with serious health concerns) But, it was also a day of grace, joy and determination to go forward with the Lord in whatever might come; knowing none of this was a surprise to Him.
Hubby and I were blessed to be away; resting before our annual camping conference at a beautiful camp nearby, when we got the news. It was such a blessing to be away, to be together, and to be in an atmosphere of support and growth in the midst of the trials. God blessed us in so many ways while we were there... listening ears, prayer, delicious food, great seminars, challenging sessions, sweet worship, laughter and tears, and some down time too along the beautiful lake shores. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to stay in the same condo we did last year- wow, it is pretty (check it out below)!

Skylights in the hallways (they were in our room and bathroom too)- let the sunshine in! |
Hubby entered the Hot Sauce Contest at the conference; he rocked it and tried them all! |
Thanks to everyone who watched the kiddos so we could get away for some much needed time away |
We have been enjoying the spring weather (and it's not even officially spring). We went on our annual "Signs of Spring" walk the other day. Darling daughter was thrilled to have a camera in hand. She is becoming quite the little photographer, check out a few of her shots...
She recently had the opportunity to sing briefly on stage at a local choir concert; she did great!
The boys are growing up so fast too. They are much more independent and embrace life with lots of energy, imagination, and fun.
Sunshine-head himself, with a new hair-do. |

I love that youngest still wants to hold my hand. |
The brothers- so glad they are not just brothers but friends too. |
Well, there you have it, our March so far. We continue to wait for #4 but try and live each day fully; not halfway. There is the temptation to just bide our time in this transition/waiting period, but we are determined to not to that... but to live full and love deep and lean on Him; trusting that He will uphold us through the wait.
